This contest supports Reading Works, a community-based, nonprofit in Albuquerque that enriches the lives of adults and their families by increasing their literacy skills.
The Challenge: Write a short story using no more than 30 words.
Five topics: sushi, pianos, caterpillars, Huck Finn’s mother, breakfast.
Six cash prizes
Submission deadline: Jan. 10, 2020
Submission Fee: $5 per story.
