Tom Cannon will present How to Be Your Own Agent, Editor, Publicist and Publisher at 7 p.m. Monday, April 28, in the lower level meeting room of the Oshkosh Public Library.
Authors today often must be their own agent, editor, publicist and publisher. Tom will present an overview of several tools available to writers, with demonstrations on word-processing, finding markets for your work, promotion and self-publishing.
Tom Cannon's story about his son is the lead story in the anthology Cup of Comfort for Parents of Children with Autism. He also has published dozens of poems and short stories. His self-published book is The Tao of Apathy.
The program is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.
This is a new monthly series sponsored by the Oshkosh Area Writer’s Club on the fourth Monday of the month.
