Local author Jim Metz has a new book out, "Lizzie McCourt: Baby Doe's Legend Begins Here," available on e-book. Members may recall reviewing a draft of the book a few years ago. The book is about Lizzie's formative years in Oshkosh as the daughter of clothier Peter McCourt, before she married Harvey Doe in 1877 and moved to Colorado.*A DoeHEAD is a fan of Oshkosh native "Baby Doe" Tabor; babydoe.org is their homepage.
