Everyone Has A Story to Tell

Mark your calendars for 6 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 24 for a free writing workshop, Everyone Has A Story to Tell.

In this interactive workshop held at the Oshkosh Public Library, aspiring writers will develop their storytelling skills, discover their unique voice, and craft the first draft of a new piece, whether it is a short story, poem, or nonfiction. Local authors Bill Gillard and Tom Cannon will lead fun exercises and group discussions to help participants to learn about plot development, character creation, showing vs. telling, creating tension, and how to engage a reader.
