Writing for Magazines Workshop

Appleton Public Library will host "Writing for Magazines" an inspiring workshop with Ellen Kort, Wisconsin's first poet laureate. Located in the Lower Level Meeting Room of Appleton Public Library, Thursday, Feb 11, 1:30 - 3 pm. No writing experience is necessary. The event is free and open to the public.

The program is sponsored by Writing Matters, where members discuss books about the writing craft, participate in writing exercises, listen to good writing, and learn about different genres and writing techniques.

2010 Fox Cities Book Festival
